A few months ago, my energy coach told me about one of her clients who is a vision statement junkie. I was intrigued, and I wanted to know all the juicy details.
This woman had radically changed her job, lifestyle and financial situation through the use of vision statements. Miraculously she had increased her salary by 40%, in just a year. This bump in pay was unheard of within her company.
She uses vision statements all the time for everything. Her story of transformation was so incredible it inspired me to start using them.
My Vision Statement Miracles
Since then, I have been able to make significant changes in my life just by writing vision statements and reading them every day. Things I thought would never change, do so quickly and easily now. It feels almost magical.
This practice is such an amazing gift. I wanted to share it with you so that you can change things in your life just as quickly.
You Can Change Anything With a Vision Statement
Vision statements are super powerful energy tools, and you can use them to shape your reality and manifest anything you want in life.
Our subconscious beliefs are what get in the way of us moving forward, making changes and achieving success in our lives. Those beliefs need to be given for healing before we can create new ones. We all have limiting beliefs which form during our lifetimes, but that does not mean we can’t change them.
Old Beliefs Get in the Way of Progress
Some of our beliefs may seem overwhelmingly persistent but even those, can be dissolved and replaced. I had some crazy beliefs about health issues which weren’t even real. I used vision statements to remove them, and all my symptoms went right along with them.
These limiting beliefs block us from change and getting the things we want. The good news is, we can use vision statements to quickly heal these beliefs and replace them with new ones that are in alignment with our goals.
Vision Statements 101
The first vision statement my energy coach had me write was this one below:
“I am becoming more willing every day to allow and receive more positive outcomes, in all areas of my life, beyond what I can imagine or believe.”
This particular saying became the inspiration for my More Positive Outcomes blog and is the cornerstone of my daily meditation.
I used to block myself from anything positive coming into my life, so this was a necessary place to start. The part about “beyond what I can imagine or believe” ensured that I would see results despite my subconscious programming or limiting beliefs. I had convinced myself that if I couldn’t figure out a solution, it wouldn’t happen. Since I have been using this vision statement, miraculous things happen all the time, things that I could never imagine.
This single vision statement has changed my life. I read it every single morning, and I use it in my evening meditation as well. It has powerfully changed my beliefs and allowed me to let go of so many negative things in my life. I am now able to allow myself happiness and invite the stuff I want, into my life rather than the things I don’t want.
My vision statements have helped me to navigate some potentially volatile conflicts with people which turned out incredibly well! Using vision statements has also brought me a wealth of abundance and helped me to change careers effortlessly.
Step 1 Tense
Tense is very important when writing an effective vision statement. You cannot write it as though you are already enjoying the fruits of your labor before anything has changed. Your mind will only reject it as silly and false. A better approach is to ease into it by using words which express future tense, with the assumption that your desires are on their way to you.
A lot of my vision statements start with “In the very near future, which I am allowing and receiving….” This wording opens the door for them to begin right away but I am not trying to trick my mind into believing something that has not yet happened.
Step 2 Tone
The tone of your vision statement should be infused with pure joy. Every sentence should make you feel happy and peaceful when reading it. Avoid negative comments about things you want to change, but instead, focus on the positives of the changes you are manifesting.
For instance, if you wanted to bring more money into your life, you wouldn’t start by writing about the lack of money, or worrying about money. Instead, keep it about how it feels to invite more money easily into your life. Like this vision statement below I wrote for myself.
“Every day, I allow the comfortable, easy flow of money into my life without any extra effort on my part or the need to control how money flows into my life. I am open and willing to invite any creative possibilities which bring more financial abundance to me. I feel peaceful and secure when I think about money, and that feeling grows stronger each day.”
Focus Your Results
It is important to keep a tight focus on what you are trying to change or manifest. Take some time to think about the perfect focus of your vision statement before putting pen to paper. Be as detailed as possible and don’t be afraid to write a few paragraphs to get it just right.
For example, I was going to write a vision statement on losing weight, and my energy coach suggested instead that I write a vision statement about “loving my body.” By changing the focus of my vision statement, I have lost over 10 pounds in a month and still eat ice cream every night!
Final Suggestions
Read your vision statement every morning and every night. Read them out loud and spend a few minutes letting them sink in, really let yourself feel the emotions of how it feels to achieve your goals. By putting yourself in that emotional frequency, it will help draw those things into your life effortlessly.
You will be shocked at the quick, miraculous results you can achieve with vision statements for anything you want to change in your life.
