A miracle is defined as “an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs.” You may or may not believe in miracles, but I am here to tell you, they are everywhere, happening all the time if you just pay attention.

Spiritual Gurus Know What Miracles Are

All the great spiritual gurus of our time (Gabby Bernstein, Joe Dispenza, Eckhart Tolle, Abraham Hicks, etc.) speak about the connection between the human mind and manifesting reality. There is actually a lot of solid science that backs it up.

The term miracle is used to describe when what we desire or think about suddenly shows up in our experience. It’s happening all the time, but you are probably missing a lot of it.

Mindfulness Helps You Appreciate the Miracles

Last week I had a rough day. It was after a snowstorm, and I had cleaned off my car and pulled muscles, so I was sore. Since I am temporarily living in an apartment, they require us to leave the parking lot for 30-40 minutes after a storm to clean up the mess. While waiting for the alert to leave my apartment, I suddenly thought of Engelbert Humperdinck’s song “After the Lovin’,” and it started playing in my head. I haven’t heard or thought of that song in many years. It was comforting to me, though so I wanted to play it on my Alexa device, but I didn’t want to miss the horns beeping for me to leave, so I let it go.

Shortly after that, we got the alert, and I went out to my car and got in. I noticed after a second or two that the radio volume was way down. I turned it up, and a song was ending. The very next song that came on was After the Lovin’ by Engelbert Humperdinck. I couldn’t help but smile and feel very supported and loved by God/The Universe for delivering me this song.

When a Door Closes, a Window Opens

I am fortunate to write for some big-name websites and tech companies that I respect and adore. However, last week one of them contacted me to let me know their focus was changing, and they would be reducing my contract as they didn’t need as much content. Although disappointed, I kept repeating the phrase in my head “when a door closes, a window opens.”

The very next day, I received an email from another large tech company who I had wanted to write for, and they want to talk to me today about a possible contract. I saw that as another clear miracle of the power of trust and faith that God/The Universe will deliver the miracles if you are paying attention.

I Won the Lottery

I have been listening to one of Joe Dispenza’s books recently and playing around with manifesting and miracles. Two days in a row last week, I purchased lottery tickets. Each day, as I did, I was mindful and kept the phrase “I want to win the lottery” in my head. Well, as it turned out, both days, I did technically “win the lottery” although only $4 on each ticket. I guess I should have been more specific. The point is, though, I had no resistance to these thoughts, only desires, and they came true almost instantly. The email I received letting me know was titled “You Won the Lottery.”

One More Big Miracle

After I moved last February, I decided to relax in an apartment until I found the perfect condo. I looked at a few this summer, but none grabbed me. I have heard rumblings about the lack of inventory on the real estate market, and at each open house I attended, there were tons of people. Recently, I pondered how I would be able to secure a place if I had to fight the crowds. I didn’t want to get into a bidding war or struggle for a place to live. It was merely a passing thought without any real resistance, but I noticed it. Time is on my side and I can be patient.

That was two weeks ago. Last Thursday, I got a call out of the blue from a dear friend I haven’t spoken with in ages. She has a serious family situation going on and needs to sell her condo. Her condo is beyond beautiful. It’s about as perfect as I could ever hope for, and she WANTS to sell it to me. She doesn’t even want to put it on the market, just a nice, private sale. So, without any effort on my part, simply a thought about not wanting to fight others for a place to live, I have the most perfect opportunity handed to me on a platter. If that isn’t an example of a miracle, I don’t know what is.

Keep Your Eyes Peeled

We think hundreds, perhaps even thousands of thoughts every day. It’s no wonder all the creating we are doing gets lost in the shuffle, and we miss seeing the fruits of our labor. Slow down, keep your eyes peeled and be mindful. Watch for those miracles. I promise you; they are there if you look to see them.
